One of the teams connected to Neymar is Arsenal, and Emmanuel Petit thinks the Brazilian superstar would be ideal for the Gunners.
WHAT OCCURED? Prior to the summer transfer window, the South American forward at Paris Saint-Germain is causing a lot of leave rumors. He still has a long-term deal in France, but amid another season marred by injuries, his frustrated fans have turned against him once more. Petit claims that the talented 31-year-old would fit well into Mikel Arteta’s plans at Emirates Stadium, raising the possibility of a move to England.
WHAT THEY SAY: Former Arsenal player Petit told Genting Casino that Neymar would fit in well at any major league team. I would adore it if he visited Arsenal, and I believe he would as well. He will likely appreciate Arsenal’s style and technical play, in my opinion. Being quite an experienced player himself, he would adore playing with younger people. With everything he has been through at PSG and the emotions he shed at the World Cup, he will also be thinking about getting revenge. If that is the case, I believe he will be content to join Arsenal. Because of his ankle problems, he can play both left and right and is a player in the rotation.
THE BIGGER PICTURE: While Petit believes Neymar would bring more Samba flare to Arsenal, he is not persuaded Vinicius Junior should be shopping around Real Madrid despite receiving more racial abuse in his most recent La Liga match. The Frenchman, a former player for Barcelona, continued, “If I were Vinicius Jr., I wouldn’t be coming to Arsenal right now. He has been outstanding over the past two years while playing for the biggest club in the world. I recall how harshly he was criticized three years ago, even by his teammates. Now that he has so much personality in his play, he is succeeding greatly.
When Real Madrid played Valencia over the weekend, I was astounded by what I witnessed. Even some of the body of governors and La Liga’s post-match reactions left me wondering, “What is wrong with you guys?” I don’t know what is going on. Vinicius Jr. is not the last person it will happen to, nor is this the first or last time it will occur. It would be a mistake if he left Real Madrid as a result. Only a minority of Spaniards are like that; the bulk are not. Additionally, it may occur anywhere in the world. Finding contentment elsewhere is difficult after leaving Real Madrid.
THEN WHAT? Arsenal is anticipated to be active in the summer transfer market as Arteta looks to strengthen a group that nearly missed winning the Premier League during the 2022–23 season.
