The representatives of Thiago Alcantara have hit back at suggestions that the midfielder is set to leave Liverpool.
This week has brought plenty of speculation over the future of the Spaniard, with reports emerging that Thiago rejected an approach from Saudi Arabia
The feeling that the 32-year-old could leave was intensified after he seemingly removed Liverpool from his Instagram page. However, according to The Athletic, suggestions that this means anything at all have been deemed ‘wide of the mark’ by the player’s camp.
They have reportedly claimed that Thiago changing his social media page does not mean his departure is imminet.
Despite that strong denial though, there’s no alternative clarification as to why Liverpool’s No.6 did remove the club from his page.

Thiago creates social media storm
In this age of social media, a player has to be careful with what he puts up online. Any little change such as this one will be scrutinised and read all kinds of ways.
And in fairness, there isn’t many other ways you can read this. Thiago had Liverpool in his Instagram bio, now he doesn’t. The club’s name has been actively taken off.
Someone has done that – presumably with Thiago’s blessing – and you’d think there’d be a reason for it.

Despite that, it does seem unlikely that the former Bayern Munich man will be leaving the Reds this summer. That’s the feeling at the moment, anyway.
Jurgen Klopp is reportedly planning for the season ahead with Thiago on board and the player wants to stay. Unless a too-good-to-refuse offer comes his – and Liverpool’s – way, that doesn’t seem likely to change.
From our point of view that’s a wholly positive thing. We still haven’t fully seen the best of Thiago at Liverpool and with better midfield options now around him, he could flourish.
It would be a shame to lose his experience, nous and quality while the team is in transition. Fingers crossed his camp are being honest here.
