Manu Kone, a midfielder for Borussia Monchengladbach, may be sold this summer if the price was right.
Sporting director Roland Virkus of Borussia Monchengladbach has said that the team would be willing to transfer Manu Kone, who is being pursued by Liverpool, this summer if the price was right.
As Jurgen Klopp wants to build on last season, Liverpool has already acquired top target Alexis Mac Allister for a reasonable price and is now targeting other midfielders.
The Reds have been strongly linked with young French duo Manu Kone and Khephren Thuram as both are reportedly keen on making the switch to Anfield.
Liverpool have already opened talks with the Gladbach star ahead of a summer move, according to 90min, but a fee would need to be agreed between the two
clubs.
Gladbach are thought to be keen on keeping hold of Kone, but Virkus has reiterated Gladbach’s desire to do business if the price is right.
Our attitude is well-known,” Virkus told Kicker via 90min. “If there are sums involved that a club like Borussia has to think about, we will do it.”
