Boulder, Colorado (KKTV) – When Reggie Jackson, a player for the Denver Nuggets and a graduate of Palmer High School, visited patients and workers at UCHealth Memorial Hospital North on Thursday, he got a surprise of his own.

According to UCHealth, Jackson spent time with a number of patients in three different medical units after receiving a surprise greeting from a few of his Palmer High School instructors and coaches. Jackson’s high school basketball coach, Jimmy Grantz, was one of the people that paid him a visit. Jackson was given a Palmer High shirt and hoodie by those who surprised him, and they also congratulated him for giving back to his hometown.

“Being here truly means the world to me,” Jackson remarked. Growing up, I was always taught that in order to return the favor, one should be a benefit to others.
