The UNC basketball staff, along with their local rivals, have had their eyes on five-star prospect Jordan Page for quite some time.

Although Page hasn’t announced any offers from the Tobacco Road trio yet, he’s just finishing up his sophomore year. And with his rising profile, it seems likely that UNC, Duke, and NC State will officially join the recruitment battle for the skilled 6-foot-5 lefty from Broughton High School in Raleigh.

After Page delivered an impressive showing during the first day of 3SSB Circuit play in Texas on Friday, 247Sports analyst Brandon Jenkins remarked that the dynamic wing “projects to be heavily pursued” by the nearby basketball powerhouses.

Page, already a magnet for attention from all three programs, is ranked No. 15 nationally, the top shooting guard, and the No. 2 overall player in North Carolina for the 2027 class according to the 247Sports Composite.

“[Jordan Page] can make plays others can’t,” Jenkins noted. “He’s a naturally gifted athlete with a strong frame… While his jumper still needs refining, he’s elusive, explosive, and has the tools to become a high-level defender.”

So far, UNC’s only reported offer in the 2027 class has gone to Northern Nash (N.C.) power forward CJ Rosser, the nation’s No. 3 overall prospect. That offer surfaced roughly two months ago.
