The Mountain Mamba is returning!

Trent Noah is officially coming back to Kentucky for his sophomore season. The Harlan County native confirmed the news on Friday with a post on Twitter simply saying, “I’m back.”

As a freshman, Noah appeared in 24 games for the Wildcats, averaging 2.7 points and 1.9 rebounds in 11.1 minutes per game while shooting 45.1% from the field and 33.3% from three-point range. His best performance came in a home win over Tennessee, where he dropped a career-high 11 points on 3-of-4 shooting from beyond the arc, along with two rebounds and an assist in 19 minutes.

Noah also saw action in all three of Kentucky’s NCAA Tournament games, totaling 28 minutes, seven points on 2-of-3 shooting, and one rebound.
