Trent Noah declares his intention to rejoin Kentucky basketball.

The Mountain Mamba is making his return!

The Kentucky Wildcats have secured another confirmed returnee for the upcoming season, this time from Trent Noah. On Friday, Noah shared the news via Twitter with a simple post: “I’m back.”

In his freshman season, Noah played in 24 games, averaging 2.7 points on 45.1% shooting (33.3% from three) and 1.9 rebounds in 11.1 minutes per game. His standout performance came in Kentucky’s home victory over Tennessee, where he scored a career-high 11 points on 3-of-4 shooting (all from beyond the arc), along with two rebounds and one assist in 19 minutes.

Noah also saw action in 28 minutes across three NCAA Tournament games, scoring seven points (2/3 shooting) and grabbing one rebound.

With a deep roster next season, Noah will face stiff competition for minutes, but his potential is bright. Here’s hoping we get to see his journey unfold over the next three years in Lexington.
