Since most of Chelsea’s summer additions were 22 years of age or younger, the need for a quick turnaround isn’t as urgent as it was under Tuchel’s leadership the previous season. Pochettino’s problems have also been further exacerbated by injuries, as players like Romeo Lavia, Christopher Nkunku, Wesley Fofana, and Reece James have had extended stretches of time off the field.
