They have one life’ – Moises Caicedo and Alexis Mac Allister could leave Brighton amid Man Utd & Liverpool transfer links, admits Roberto De Zerbi

Alexis MacAllister and Moises Caicedo have been linked to Manchester United and Liverpool, and Roberto De Zerbi has acknowledged that they may leave Brighton.
In the 2022–23 season, Brighton’s best midfielders have excelled for both club and nation. While Mac Allister won the World Cup with Argentina, Caicedo excelled for Ecuador at the tournament in Qatar, and both men were instrumental in the Seagulls’ successful attempt to qualify for the European Championship. Liverpool has already made the decision to split ways with James Milner, and after withdrawing from the running to recruit Jude Bellingham from Borussia Dortmund, they have now turned their attention to Mac Allister. Manchester United is reportedly one of the teams after Caicedo, who has also been mentioned as one of Arsenal’s top targets going into the summer transfer season.
De Zerbi wants the coveted pair to remain where they are, but he acknowledges that it might be difficult for them to turn down the chance to join a bigger club.
“We are able to provide Moises and Alexis with the chance to play in Europe. Our level has increased. They are excellent people, and it will be helpful. I worry for myself, the team, and the players as well. They only have one life, and we can’t make decisions for them, he said to media on Wednesday before the Premier League match against Manchester City.
Brighton rejected Arsenal’s offer of £70 million ($85 million) for Caicedo during the last transfer window. They are anticipated to make a second attempt to sign the 21-year-old this summer, but they will reportedly come up against heavy opposition from United, as Erik ten Hag is rumored to be looking to add more midfield reinforcements. Meanwhile, according to Fabrizio Romano, Liverpool and Mac Allister are nearing a personal agreement that might result in the midfielder moving to Anfield for the upcoming campaign.
