The Hawks have obtained Kristaps Porzingis through a three-team transaction involving the Celtics and the Nets.

As part of a three-team deal that also includes the Nets, the Atlanta Hawks are trading for Kristaps Porzingis from the Boston Celtics.
The 7-foot-2 big man, Kristaps Porzingis, is officially leaving Boston after being dealt by the Celtics. According to reports, he is part of a three-team trade and is going to the Atlanta Hawks.

Insider Brett Siegel reports that the Hawks are getting Kristaps Porzingis from the Boston Celtics in a trade that also involves the Brooklyn Nets. With Porzingis now playing with top guard Trae Young, Atlanta will have a new weapon for the upcoming campaign.

“BREAKING: League sources informed Clutch Points that the Atlanta Hawks are acquiring Kristaps Porzingis from the Boston Celtics in a three-team trade with the Brooklyn Nets.”

According to ESPN’s Shams Charania, Kristaps Porzingis and a second-round selection are going to Atlanta. The Celtics obtain Georges Niang and a second-round pick in the 2025 NBA Draft, while the Nets receive Terance Mann and the 22nd overall pick. “Terance Mann and Atlanta’s No. 22 pick go to the Nets, Georges Niang and a second-round pick go to the Celtics, and Kristaps Porzingis and a second-round pick go to the Hawks as part of a three-team trade that Boston, Atlanta, and Brooklyn are finalising.”
