The Duke Blue Devils star decides whether to enter the NBA draft.

The Duke Blue Devils made a strong push to the Final Four in the NCAA Tournament, and although they came up short against the Houston Cougars after a rough finish, the run marked one of the team’s best seasons since winning it all in 2015.

A huge reason for Duke’s success was the emergence of their star freshman trio—Cooper Flagg, Kon Knueppel, and Khaman Maluach. Knueppel has already declared for the NBA Draft, while Flagg, the projected No. 1 pick, is expected to follow soon. In addition to the freshman impact, veteran guard Tyrese Proctor played a crucial role, especially with his red-hot shooting performance in March.

Though he had the option to return for another season, Proctor officially declared for the NBA Draft on Friday, joining Knueppel and likely Flagg and Maluach in moving on to the next level. Duke acknowledged his departure with a message: “League next. Duke forever. Thank you [Tyrese Proctor].”
