Gary O’Neil has shown that he respects the opposition by stating today that he will play as hard as he can in tomorrow night’s game.
Fans of Wolves are really optimistic about the team right now and think O’Neil can do extraordinary things this season.
Although many would want to think that winning the FA Cup is possible, Brighton will, as they generally always are, be a tough challenge.
It is evident that he is a huge supporter of what Gary O’Neil has accomplished this season, but he has a special fondness for one aspect of the current Wolves squad.
“They are a very good team and they are playing very well,” he stated (via a Brighton official). They triumphed in the arenas of Chelsea and Tottenham. I saw a lot of their most recent matches. They play in a really distinct way. Their players are excellent, particularly in offense. And everywhere, Kilman and Lemina as well. They are vying for spots at the table in Europe.
Not for the first time, De Zerbi has expressed praise for Wolves.
Prior to their most recent encounter at the Amex Stadium, the Italian selected
Pablo Sarabia, Lemina, Kilman, Matheus Cunha, and others called O’Neil’s squad “bold” and “brisk.”
An opportunity for Wolves against a diminished Brighton
De Zerbi is obviously a huge admirer of what Wolves have been doing, so it’s good to hear him speak highly of the team before the match. O’Neil has also given Brighton high marks, demonstrating the obvious mutual respect between the two managers.
Wolves will have a great opportunity next night.
This season, Wolves have excelled at home, and the game will take place at Molineux. Given that Brighton will be without several important players for the match, including Danny Welbeck, Evan Ferguson, Kaoru Mitoma, and Billy Gilmour, Wolves must be feeling upbeat.
The team sheet for Gary O’Neil will be intriguing. With the exception of Matheus Cunha, he has a fully fit team; nonetheless, Tommy Doyle and/or Jean-Ricner Bellegarde may play.
