The Real Madrid team may experience several changes over the summer. While some club members are currently not contributing much, there are a number of positions that need to be strengthened. As we look to the future, remember that both incomings and outgoings shouldn’t come as a surprise.
Ferland Mendy is one player whose future at Real Madrid is rumored to be uncertain. Without a doubt, the Frenchman has contributed significantly to the team’s recent achievements.
He has recently struggled with form and fitness, though, at the same time. On the other side, the team also plans to sign Rayo Vallecano’s Fran Garcia in the summer, while Eduardo Camavinga has shown promise as a left-back.
Mendy’s time at Real Madrid may soon be coming to an end, given everything. He also seems receptive to the idea of departing.
According to MadridXtra, when asked about Mendy’s condition, journalist Santi Aouna responded as follows:
He would be willing to leave Real Madrid. However, he is also comfortable with the club, so we must wait to see how this plays out because no clubs have made any approaches or made any progress.
Mendy is one of the top defensive players in the league when he is at his peak. And he has previously shown to be particularly effective when Real Madrid has faced strong opposition.
However, there have always been concerns about his ability to play while moving up the pitch. And right now, he’s just not playing enough for Los Blancos, whether it’s because of injury or because others are overtaking him in the lineup.
Mendy has been mentioned in connection with a number of clubs. Watch to see whether any of them ultimately try to sign him during the summer transfer window.
