Nik Khamenia is on his way to Durham and was impressed with Switzerland.

The Duke freshman’s future is bright.
From a distance, it appears that Khamenia will be a glue guy on steroids, but this is all speculative until we see him in action. When asked how he can support his squad, he says, “Whatever the team needs to win, honestly.” Guarding the greatest players, starting, coming off the bench, being a man who facilitates, or being a knock-down shooter are all examples. With the abilities I possess, I believe I can succeed in a wide range of circumstances. The videos of Khamenia in Lausanne that we watched were stunning. In order to truly stand out there, he battled inside, was tenacious, defended, shot, and passed well.

Although it’s very hard to predict who will start this far out, Cameron Boozer should be given a place. Maybe Cayden Boozer will get right to the point. Dame Sarr, Isaiah Evans, and Caleb Foster might begin.
Though we should always remember that playing against young international competition isn’t the same as playing against elite collegiate players, we could easily see Khamenia taking the other position if Patrick Ngongba isn’t selected. He might also be a strong presence off the bench, possibly entering for a dynamic 1-2 punch with Maliq Brown (should he not start). No matter how coach Jon Scheyer uses him, Khamenia will probably turn out to be hazardous.
