The 2025 NBA Draft Combine is in full swing, with over 75 prospects gathered in Chicago this week to display their talents.
In addition to the 75 players who received official invites, a handful of standout performers from the NBA G League Elite Camp were also selected to participate. Among the original invitees, Kentucky is represented by Koby Brea and Otega Oweh.
Brea, who has exhausted his college eligibility, is aiming to secure a spot in the NBA with his elite shooting skills. Oweh, meanwhile, is expected to use this opportunity to gain feedback from scouts and front office personnel as he weighs a return to Kentucky for another season.
Oweh’s potential return for his junior year and second in Lexington is seen as vital for Kentucky’s 2025–26 roster. He was the team’s most consistent scorer last season under Mark Pope and provides invaluable leadership and experience.
Although there’s always a chance an NBA team could be impressed enough to consider him for a first-round pick, most believe this is more of an exploratory experience for Oweh, and that he’s likely to be back at UK this fall.
Elsewhere, Amari Williams, Andrew Carr, and Lamont Butler took part in the NBA G League Elite Camp, participating in drills and scrimmage games in front of scouts. Full stats and game results from the weekend’s action are available online.
