A former Liverpool target has been put up for sale by Juventus, according to reports.
According to reports, a player for whom Liverpool allegedly made an £86 million bid is being sold. According to reports, Juventus is open to bids for Italian winger Federico Chiesa.
Chiesa recently experienced a challenging club season. He only made six starts in Serie A, primarily because of injuries and fitness issues.
The 25-year-old’s anterior cruciate knee ligament was ruptured in January 2022, preventing him from participating in the start of the season. Throughout the rest of the season, he had nagging issues.
Prior to the 2021/22 season, Chiesa was said to be moving to Liverpool. His reputation increased as he contributed to Italy’s success at Euro 2020, scoring a goal against Spain in the semi-final at Wembley.
Italian outlet La Repubblica claimed in July that year that Juve had rejected an offer worth £86m from Liverpool for the forward. Two years later, transfer reporter Gianluca Di Marzio claims Juve are willing to sell the 25-year-old.
