Liverpool 4-0 Leicester: Nunez, Clark, Jota and Doak score as Reds youngsters impress manager Jurgen Klopp

Liverpool thrashed Leicester 4-0 after an impressive performance in their pre-season friendly clash in Singapore on Sunday.

Manager Jurgen Klopp named a strong team and striker Darwin Nunez opened the scoring after half an hour.

 

Young midfielder Bobby Clark doubled the advantage five minutes later, before Portuguese forward Diogo Jota made it 3-0 before the interval.

 

 

Teenager Ben Doak, 17, who had replaced Mo Salah at half-time, added the cherry on the cake with the fourth to further push his case for more first-team action this season.

 

While Foxes boss Enzo Maresca will reflect on a poor performance that saw his near-full strength side outplayed and outfought by Klopp and Co.
