Hamilton has attracted interest from numerous Division I programs.
The Kentucky Wildcats, under Mark Pope’s leadership, have already secured several transfer commitments for his second season, but they’re not done yet.
With roster spots still open, Kentucky is focusing on strengthening its backcourt. The Wildcats also boast a solid incoming recruiting class, including 5-star guard Jasper Johnson—Pope’s first such recruit—and 4-star forward Malachi Moreno. So far, Kentucky has added Mo Dioubate, Kam Williams, Jaland Lowe, Jayden Quaintance, and Croatian forward Andrija Jelavic to its roster.
A new name to keep an eye on is Kimani Hamilton, a transfer from High Point, who has also been contacted by several other top programs, including Kentucky. Hamilton, a 6-foot-7 forward from Clinton, Mississippi, earned All-Big South honors twice after transferring to High Point from Mississippi State, where he had limited playing time as a freshman.
