Christian Collins, a five-star small forward out of St. John Bosco in California, has narrowed his college choices to three programs. According to Joe Tipton, Collins ranked No. 12 in Rivals’ 2026 class is now considering Kentucky, USC, and UCLA.
The California standout kept two major in-state programs on his shortlist. Before reducing his options to three, he had collected offers from Tennessee, Oregon, and several others.

Considered one of the top prospects in the 2026 cycle, Collins brings elite defensive tools thanks to his 7 foot plus wingspan and active presence at 6 foot 8. During the EYBL summer circuit, he posted 8.3 rebounds per game along with a couple of blocks.
On offense, Collins is still developing. He excels in transition and on the boards, but his half-court scoring remains inconsistent. In EYBL play this summer, he averaged 12.5 points on 42% shooting and connected on just 21% of his three-point attempts.
Kentucky and head coach Mark Pope are still searching for their first commitment in the 2026 class, and with more recruits announcing timelines, the Wildcats could be close to landing one.
However, KSR’s Jacob Polacheck has previously noted that USC is viewed as the likely choice.
