Great news for Duke Basketball: Isaiah Evans has officially withdrawn from the NBA Draft a wise move at this stage.
While Evans shows tremendous promise, he still lacks the physical strength needed to consistently compete at the professional level.
Another year in college, focused on development and strength training, will do him a world of good. He’s proven he’s not afraid to put in the work, which will benefit both him and the Blue Devils significantly.
As a freshman, Evans only began to tap into his potential. He’s a dynamic scorer with serious upside, and with some added polish, he projects as a clear first-rounder possibly even a lottery pick.
All in all, it’s a win-win situation for both Evans and Duke.
