Cooper Flagg and the Duke Blue Devils wrapped up an impressive 2024-25 season with a strong showing in the NCAA Tournament.
Flagg played a key role in helping Duke secure the ACC regular-season championship and earn a No. 1 seed in March Madness. During the tournament, the Blue Devils knocked off Mount Saint Mary’s, Baylor, Arizona, and Alabama before falling to Houston in the Final Four, finishing the year with a 35-4 record.
Following the season, speculation has been swirling around Flagg’s next move, with many expecting him to enter the 2025 NBA Draft. While no official announcement has been made, Duke fueled the conversation on Friday by posting photos of Flagg putting in work at the gym.
In his freshman campaign, Flagg led Duke in scoring, rebounding, and assists, averaging 19.2 points, 7.5 boards, and 4.2 dimes per game. He also anchored the defense with 1.4 steals and 1.4 blocks per contest.
Flagg committed to Duke as the No. 1 overall prospect in the 2024 class, according to 247Sports, turning down offers from elite programs like UConn and Kansas.
As the NBA Draft approaches, Flagg is widely expected to go No. 1 overall, with the Utah Jazz, Washington Wizards, and Charlotte Hornets currently holding the best odds to land the top pick.
