The Duke basketball program is set to host four-star 2026 prospect Sebastian Wilkins on an official visit next Monday. The 6-foot-8, 215-pound power forward is ranked No. 28 overall and No. 7 at his position in the 247Sports Composite for the 2026 class. However, Wilkins is widely expected to reclassify to 2025 and could suit up for a college program as soon as next season.

Hailing from Brewster Academy in New Hampshire—a powerhouse prep program and the only Nike Elite High School in New England—Wilkins recently received a scholarship offer from Duke, just two weeks ahead of his visit to Durham.

His potential move into the 2025 class would come at a crucial time for the Blue Devils, who are expected to lose all five starters from the 2024–25 roster. Duke will return Caleb Foster, Isaiah Evans, Patrick Ngongba II, Maliq Brown, and Darren Harris, but has already seen Cooper Flagg, Kon Knueppel, Khaman Maluach, and Tyrese Proctor declare for the 2025 NBA Draft. Though Evans has also entered the early draft process, he’s projected to return for his sophomore season.

With strong backcourt depth and a versatile mix of shooting and defense, Duke’s main need is in the frontcourt—making Wilkins an ideal addition. He holds offers from several major programs, including Maryland, Boston College, Florida State, and Alabama, but Duke’s recent interest has positioned them as a leading contender.

The Blue Devils also recently landed Washington State transfer Cedric Coward and currently hold the No. 3 overall 2025 recruiting class, per 247Sports. If Wilkins reclassifies and commits, he would significantly bolster Duke’s frontcourt rotation next season.
