Draymond says Gobert is no longer considered “trash” because of Edwards.

Rudy Gobert now seems more likeable to Draymond Green.

Following the Minnesota Timberwolves’ thrilling four-game sweep of Jusuf Nurkić and the Phoneix Suns in their NBA playoff first-round series, the veteran forward for the Warriors utilized the most recent episode of the “Draymond Green Show” to commend Gobert for his performance.

“The work that Anthony Edwards has done with those guys is truly remarkable,” Green remarked in the Monday-released episode. “I mean, Rudy’s [is] not trash anymore, really.” Ironically, he is already an All-Defensive player and plays defense. However, he’s up at the level where you see him on the switches. He’s no longer merely lounging in the drop. It’s as if his antennas pop as he turns on the guy.
