One of the other NBA greats is sending a strong message to Jayson Tatum, an All-Star for the Boston Celtics. Taytum received a signed jersey from Kevin Durant of the Phoenix Suns, along with a brief note.
According to Jayson Tatum’s snap story, Kevin Durant gave him a signed jersey after the game.
“Among the best ever.” Continue cooking
Among the best ever. Continue to cook,” Durant wrote.
On Saturday night, the Celtics defeated the Suns 117-107. Following the game, Durant autographed Tatum’s jersey. With 10 rebounds and 29 points at the end of the game, Tatum put on another outstanding effort. In addition to Jaylen Brown, who scored 27 points, he led the Celtics in scoring.
In a losing effort, Durant also put on a display, ending with 45 points and 10 rebounds. Due to injuries that have kept Devin Booker and Bradley Beal out of the lineup for much of the season, Durant has been forced to carry the Suns for the most of it. As he climbs the NBA career scoring charts, it appears like Durant is cooking a lot as well.
Tatum and Durant have many characteristics. Both of the players made their East and West team starts in this year’s All-Star game. On their respective teams, both players are performing vital responsibilities. In terms of scoring, the two are leading their teams. For the Suns this season, Durant is averaging 28 points per game, while Tatum is averaging 27 for the Celtics.
In terms of how their teams have played on the floor, Tatum has recently dominated Durant. Tatum has defeated Durant in seven straight meetings.
When the Celtics play at Portland on Monday, they will aim to maintain that momentum. On the same day, the Suns host their next game.
