With a victory against the New York Knicks at Madison Square Garden and a victory over the Chicago Bulls at United Center earlier in the week, the Boston Celtics aim to build on their momentum following All-Star Week.
They will have to defeat an unexpectedly formidable Knicks team in order to accomplish it. They have improved since the NBA trade deadline in 2024, and prior to a recent four-game losing streak, they were doing well despite the injuries to multiple important frontcourt players because of their increased depth. Boston does not have any players listed on their injury report, although as previously said, they will be without Mitchell Robinson (ankle), OG Anunoby (elbow), and Julius Randle (shoulder).
Miles McBride is dubious as well because of a non-covid ailment.
