Amari Williams is the sole Wildcat on CBS’s NBA Draft big board.

Amari Williams has clearly been locked in. The 6-foot-10 center is ranked 48th on the CBS Sports NBA Draft big board, giving him a solid shot at being picked in the second round of next month’s draft.

He’s the lone Kentucky Wildcat to appear on the 50 player list.

After earning three CAA Defensive Player of the Year awards at Drexel, Williams transferred to Kentucky to join Mark Pope’s first season at the helm in Lexington.

Known for his rebounding, rim protection, and versatility, Williams stood out in a tough SEC season. He recorded a triple-double at Ole Miss on February 4th one of his most complete performances helping an injury-depleted Kentucky squad push through a challenging schedule.

The Nottingham, England native posted averages of 10.9 points and 8.5 rebounds per game while shooting 56.1% from the field. He logged 10 double-doubles, with a season-best 22 points against Arkansas on February 1st and 15 rebounds at Tennessee just days earlier on January 28th.
