Dutch scout Kelvin de Lang is leaving Manchester City for Ajax.
De Lang will join the team as the new chief scout.
According to agent Humphrey Nijman, “His name is well-known in the football community.
He performed admirably there.
He climbed there by himself. He started out as a boy scout. He once visited my office to demonstrate the interest City had in Jorrel Hato. That is how we communicate constantly.
De Lang has been selected by Ajax to replace Henk Veldmate, who left for FC Groningen.
One plus one equals two for me as of Henk Veldmate’s departure. I think it’s a great decision,” Nijman continued.
