After undergoing eye surgery, Anthony Davis should be fully recovered by training camp.

The Dallas Mavericks are the new home of the former Kentucky standout.
Anthony Davis, the 2012 No. 1 overall NBA Draft pick and former Kentucky Wildcats National Player of the Year, recently underwent surgery to fix a detached retina. That’s what Shams Charania of ESPN says. According to sources who spoke to ESPN’s Shams Charania, Dallas Mavericks All-Star Anthony Davis had surgery to fix a detached retina he sustained during the season.
In February of last year, Luka Dončić was dealt to the Los Angeles Lakers, and Davis was traded to the Dallas Mavericks. Due to a groin injury, he only appeared in 11 games for Dallas, averaging 33.5 points and nine rebounds per contest.

Fortunately, Davis should be ready for training camp. He will join Cooper Flagg, this year’s first overall pick, as the Mavericks attempt to return to Western Conference contention this coming season.
