The Duke basketball program is set to host four-star forward Sebastian Wilkins, a member of the 2026 recruiting class, on an official visit next Monday. The 6-foot-8, 215-pound prospect currently ranks No. 28 overall and No. 7 among power forwards in the 247Sports Composite for 2026. However, there’s growing momentum behind a potential reclassification to the 2025 class, which could make him eligible for college ball as early as next season.
Wilkins plays at Brewster Academy in New Hampshire, a powerhouse prep program recognized as a Nike Elite High School and the only one with that distinction in New England. He’s considered the top prospect in the state.
Duke extended an offer to Wilkins roughly two weeks ago, and his upcoming visit to Durham signals strong mutual interest. With the Blue Devils expected to lose all five starters from their 2024–25 squad, adding Wilkins—especially if he reclassifies—could help fill a major frontcourt need.
Head coach Jon Scheyer is retaining key players like Caleb Foster, Isaiah Evans, Patrick Ngongba II, Maliq Brown, and Darren Harris for next season, but has seen top talents Cooper Flagg, Kon Knueppel, Khaman Maluach, and Tyrese Proctor declare for the 2025 NBA Draft. Although Evans has entered the early draft process, most signs point to a return to school.
While Duke’s backcourt remains deep and well-rounded, the team is actively seeking more size and strength up front. Wilkins—who holds offers from Duke, Maryland, Florida State, Boston College, and Alabama, among others—could be a valuable addition. The recent uptick in Duke’s interest makes his move to the 2025 class increasingly likely.
Additionally, the Blue Devils have bolstered their roster with top transfer Cedric Coward from Washington State. They currently hold the No. 3 ranked 2025 recruiting class per 247Sports, and the potential inclusion of Wilkins would further solidify their frontcourt depth heading into next season.
UNC Football Falls Short in Pursuit of Texas High School Star Braylon Edwards

UNC Football Cornerback Prospect Chooses Another ACC Program Over Tar Heels
Braylon Edwards, a junior defensive back from Duncanville High School in Texas, has committed to SMU, opting for the ACC school over North Carolina and Auburn. The three-star recruit, unrelated to former Michigan star Braylon Edwards, had recently listed UNC head coach Bill Belichick and the Tar Heels in his final five, along with Auburn, Arkansas, Utah, and SMU.
Ranked No. 1,116 overall and No. 93 among safeties in the 247Sports 2026 Composite, the 6-foot, 190-pound Edwards is quickly rising in the rankings. His commitment marks a rare recruiting loss for Belichick in his first year leading UNC’s efforts.
Still, the Tar Heels hold the No. 13-ranked 2026 class, featuring 13 early commitments, including standout three-star cornerbacks Marcellous Ryan (Junipero Serra, CA) and Justin Lewis (Rancho Cucamonga, CA).
Following the college basketball season, Flau’jae Johnson announces a new NIL deal.

Flau’jae Johnson Shines On and Off the Court as She Returns to LSU for Senior Season
Flau’jae Johnson has been in the spotlight for years—first as a high school star in Savannah, Georgia, and now as a standout player and personality at LSU. After making waves in the McDonald’s All-American Game and the Jordan Brand Classic, Johnson joined the Tigers and helped lead them to a national championship in 2023.
But Johnson is far more than a basketball player. She’s one of the top NIL earners in college sports, with deals from brands like Puma, Meta, JBL, and Taco Bell. She even holds equity in the women’s 3×3 league Unrivaled. On top of all that, she’s an accomplished rapper.
On Monday, Johnson took her influence to the fashion world, appearing at the 2025 Met Gala and announcing a new partnership with CoverGirl. Though details of the deal are still under wraps, it adds to her growing brand—and was a key reason she opted to delay entering the WNBA Draft and return to LSU
