Gabby Agbonlahor was on TalkSport today tearing apart Chelsea’s summer window.
Much like most of us, he was questioning why we had spent so much on a spread of average players rather than using it on a couple of stars – he suggested Kylian Mbappe or Harry Kane could have been signed.
Now you can scoff all you like at Agbonlahor here – maybe he is being a little silly in saying we could have signed those two, because they’d have to agree to come.
But we could certainly have put down £150m to sign Victor Osimhen. He looks as close to a sure thing as you can get. And for £75m we could have had another top option like Randal Kolo Muani. So there were certainly premium options out there.
Victor oshimen, Kylian Mbappe, and Harry Kane . They are better option than Romeo Lavia, and Moses cociaedo combined.
