Liverpool and Bayern Munich are yet to come to agreement over payment for Ryan Gravenberch.
The Reds seemingly advanced their interest in Gravenberch last night, with a deal now looking likely to get done.
However, according to Sky Germany journalist Florian Plettenberg, it isn’t there just yet. Taking to Twitter last night, Plettenberg reported what the feeling currently is from Bayern’s side.
Feeling is that FC Bayern demands around €30m [£25.7m] for Ryan Gravenberch!” writes the journalist. Negotiations between the clubs ongoing. Liverpool definitely wants him!
“No total agreement between LFC & Gravenberch yet. Talks will proceed as soon as the clubs have an agreement. Gravenberch has made clear that he wants to leave FC Bayern now. He’s waiting for the final [green] light.”

Having been brought in for his expertise in the German market, now is the time for Jorg Schmadtke to come into his own.
Throughout his decades in the game, Schmadtke is sure to have had plenty of dealings with the behemoth that is Bayern Munich.
Although we don’t know quite what his relationship is with the perennial Bundesliga champions, that is an advantage here for Liverpool.
Another advantage is that Gravenberch quite clearly wants out. Yes, his club don’t have to grant him that wish, but with it being certain they’ll make a profit on a player they signed a year ago, it’s within their interests to let the 21-year-old go.
The Times are reporting that their demands to do so will be that Liverpool pay more like £35m for Gravenberch.
That may be a little more than Plettenberg’s assertion, but in reality neither price should be a problem for the Reds. At this late stage of the window, they can’t afford to miss out on a player who’s clearly been a key target for a long time.
