Chelsea are set to confirm two transfers ahead of their next Premier League clash against Luton Town on Friday evening. The Blues have already spent over £300million this summer taking their total spend on new signings in the last 12 months to over £900million.

The futures of Trevoh Chalobah and Conor Gallagher remain uncertain heading into the final nine days of the summer transfer window.

Chelsea are now expecting to sign goalkeeper Djordje Petrovic from New England Revolution. Reports on Monday stated that the Blues have agreed a deal with the MLS club – believed to be around £12.5million, plus another £1.5million in add-ons.

Petrovic is set to fly to England in the coming days and finalise a move to Chelsea with a medical scheduled to take place before the Blues’ match on Friday against Luton Town. The 23-year-old shot-stopper will not be the only signing set to be confirmed this week with Deivid Washington having already completed a medical and an announcement said to be ‘soon’, as per Fabrizio Romano.
