Jaland Lowe expresses gratitude for the Kentucky backcourt in 2025–2026.

It is “the best in the country,” according to the newest guard from Kentucky.
This coming season, the Kentucky Wildcats are determined to hoist another banner inside Rupp Arena and bring banner No. 9 back to Lexington.
In addition to returning players like Otega Oweh, the Cats have restocked their squad with key additions like Jayden Quaintance, Denzel Aberdeen, Jaland Lowe, Jasper Johnson, Malachi Moreno, and others. In a recent interview with the media, Lowe, the Pitt Panther transfer, discussed his feelings about moving to Lexington. Lowe has great expectations for what the backcourt can achieve now that the roster jigsaw has been completed.
“We definitely have the best backcourt in the nation,” Lowe stated. “With the pieces we have, I think we can compete and win at the highest level once we get our guy Jasper (Johnson) back as well. We can have everyone on the court at the same time and just compete every day.” I adore this group.

Leaving Pitt and moving to Kentucky is a significant improvement, and it’s obvious that Lowe wants to be a part of something important. “I wanted to play with this group of guys around me, I wanted to wear Kentucky across my chest, and I wanted to win a championship,” Lowe stated. With everything in place, Big Blue Nation should have a very interesting season.
