There were more players in action on Friday night, with Armando Broja and Jordan Pickford in action at Wembley Stadium.
It was uncertain as to whether Broja would feature against England with concerns over his fitness levels inside the Albania camp.
However, the striker did come on for the final half an hour of the game, with Albania chasing the game in the later stages.
David Moyes will have been pleased with what he saw from the 23-year-old striker who has endured a rotten 2023/24 campaign.
And after the game at Wembley Stadium, the on-loan forward shared an update on his fitness with one final game to play before returning to Finch Farm.
The striker did not waste any time in getting after the England defenders who had a comfortable evening before his introduction.
“I came back from a long injury, it was difficult and I was focused on returning, on my body, to have the best possible chances and not get injured again,” he said from Wembley.

“Today I liked how my body reacted, and how the game went, I also had chances for myself.
“Another day I could have taken advantage of the chances, scored and turned the game around because we had two chances at the end. But there are some small things that we can take advantage of.”
Broja did feature in Everton’s draw against West Ham United last weekend, after playing a similar role off the bench.
Everton are set to send Broja back to Chelsea at the end of the season, though, unless he can really impress in the remaining games of the campaign.
