Mark Pope and his coaching staff are focused on finalizing the Kentucky Wildcats’ roster for the 2025-26 season, with just a few spots remaining to fill.
While several transfers have been added to the team, one area that still stands out as a potential weakness is shooting. This is part of the reason why the Big Blue Nation was buzzing about the possibility of Lamar Wilkerson joining the team before he ultimately committed to Indiana.

According to a report by Joe Tipton of On3, former Kansas Jayhawks guard Rylan Griffen will be visiting Lexington on Tuesday.
Griffen, a 6-foot-6, 190-pound guard from Dallas, started his career at Alabama before spending the past season at Kansas. However, his numbers took a significant dip during his time with the Jayhawks compared to his final season with the Crimson Tide, as Kansas faced a challenging year overall.
