Harrison Twins are thrilled to have Jaland Lowe come to Kentucky.

Big Blue Nation is welcoming a rising star with deepening ties to Kentucky, thanks in part to two of the program’s most familiar faces Aaron and Andrew Harrison.

The former Kentucky guards, who played for John Calipari from 2013 to 2015, were instrumental behind the scenes in helping Pittsburgh transfer Jaland Lowe choose the Wildcats.

Their bond traces back to Houston’s AAU circuit and a shared basketball heritage.

“I’ve known Jaland since he was a baby kind of from a distance since he’s a lot younger,” Aaron Harrison told KSR’s Jack Pilgrim. “He comes from a strong basketball background, and I’m excited he gets to experience what it’s like to play at Kentucky. That’s a dream for so many players.”

Aaron also shared his plans to support Lowe as a mentor: “I’m proud of him and happy for him. I’ll always be here to offer advice whenever he needs it.”

As Lowe prepares to step into a key role for Mark Pope’s revamped roster, he does so with not only high expectations but also valuable guidance from two players who’ve already walked the path he’s about to take.
